The Old South

The Old South

The Old South, the overgrown ruins of a fallen empire's harbour in dense jungle
Where Far south of the Sunward Isles, beyond the Burning Straits
Land Tropical jungle
Status Unexplored

Locked An old continent far to the south, beyond the Sunward Isles and a hot, storm-ridden channel that sailors call the Burning Straits. It is tropical jungle, unexplored, and left open for the DM.

What's known

Almost nothing. The people of Aldoria and Kaelen know it only from sailors' stories.

Locked No living people that anyone has met. Its "ports" are ruined harbours that Sunward captains forage from, and the overgrown ruins of a great empire, fallen long before Aldoria or Kaelen, still stand. Unexplored and empty, but still worth a voyage (R-028).

For the DM

Open Free to open as a new thread later. Rumours worth keeping: buried cities, strange old gods, and things the Isles' sailors won't talk about sober.
