Locked Head of House Morrow, grandson of the murdered Trade Prince, and the most despised collaborator in Aldoria. The despising is exactly what he wants.

The knife seeking a hand

Edric never believed the official story of his grandfather's death and always suspected the Church. He was right about the Church. In Campaign One he offered his sword to the Warden as "a sword that cuts anyone" and agreed to wait. He doesn't know Tristen carried out the killing.

Framed and cleared

Before the war, Kaelen bribe money ran a false toll at Kestrel Gap through Morrow men, without his knowledge, to set the lords against each other. Alyssa Kruger cleared his name, the Queen pardoned him, and he purged his house and rebuilt it. When war came he fought bravely at Hollowpass.

The imperial dog

When the Empire won, Edric knelt faster than anyone. Aldorians call him a traitor, a coward and an "imperial dog". He runs the river trade under imperial licence, overseen by The Silk (Ghost-2), with Master Aldous Ash doing the daily work.

DM only

The cowardice is deliberate, his own Dark Knight bargain. Edric secretly runs his own The Lantern Road line: refugees hide aboard Morrow barges and are shipped downriver under the imperial name, on to the Sunward Isles. Alyssa learned this from Pellam Reed. Vesper doesn't know. Tristen must discover it in play.

If Tristen's identity spreads, Edric may work out who killed his grandfather.
