Head Lord Gareth Ardent

Locked A founding house whose lands once lay in the Marches. Blunt, proud and first to every border war.

History

Ardent's founding lands lay in the The Marches. A few generations ago the family moved west to the Southern Hills, and never lost the accent. Ardent sons have fought in every border war. The house resents Church taxes and the capital's habit of forgetting the frontier. It's respected, but not rich in coin.

Now

Open Its fate after the conquest. Its men fought at Hollowpass.
